Converse Shoes - Retail "LEED Gold"
Pleasant Prairie, WI
Designing for LEED involves the coordination and functioning of many disciplines and members together, from initial designers, to contractors, to LEED coordinators.
My primary functions of the Converse project included monitoring of the construction phases, assuring work was performed as prescribed. Communications both with the General Contractor and Superintendents fed me a continual source of progress-related information. I would then compile this information into “LEED-format,” and submit to the coordinator to process and track. Ultimately, the project attained sufficient ‘points’ in the LEED rating system, to achieve LEED Gold, as was the goal.
